The post COVID trend we didn’t see coming… the micro wedding! Intimate weddings certainly were a popular choice last year, and it seems they are here to stay. The trendy way to be married now, is on a smaller scale!

COVID brought about a lot of change and for us suppliers in the wedding industry, we were all hit…HARD!

With many of us having to navigate around rules and regs it was a difficult time. We were allocated only ‘X’ amount of people at certain times, in certain environments and these restrictions paved way for the micro wedding!

I think this is probably one of the most beautiful things to have come out of the pandemic. It forced a lot of people to get married intimately, with less people, less fuss and more focus on what truly matters.. LOVE.

The micro wedding has certainly changed the way we view and see weddings as a society and it seems its here to stay… With many of my bookings being micro weddings in 2024/25!
